The Sheep Show
Back by popular demand, this amazing educational display engages with visitors of all ages. Appearing at over 70 shows a year and in front of an estimated audience of 2.3 million people, this unique show has captured the hearts of many. The New Zealand team of presenters educate and entertain, with Nobby the Norfolk Horn who stands centre stage while others are introduced to their podiums. We learn about each breed’s attributes and how wool from sheep, becomes a jumper to wear. The shearing demonstration is well commentated and has the audience captivated. The ‘Sheep Show Shuffle’ with all the sheep dancing will captivate the audience will marvel at how on earth you train a sheep to dance.
Adults may well pretend that they are only there because of the children, but the smiles on their faces tell a different story. It really has to be seen to be believed. The Sheep Show will be in the Countryside Area and has shows throughout the day. For times please buy the Show Program.
